This week 2v1 discusses when it might be the best time to release an alpha build to the public: well in advance...or never.
Pokemon GO is waning for some, We Happy Few promises way more than it delivers with Early Access, Lawbreakers could fall prey to clone accusations and maybe you should rethink investing in Nintendo stock.
Nick is beaten down by Darkest Dungeon, Josh is let down by Hyper Light Drifter, Alex gets down with Patrick Stewart in an out-of-character role in Green Room. Everyone holds a controller differently and achievements have ruined video games.

Life is pain. After surviving another hellish work week laden with the monotony of 9-to-5, 2v1 is back to discuss the important things: video games.
Nick gets stressed in Darkest Dungeon and is disappointed with 10 Second Ninja. Josh loves being in the top of 10 Second Ninja's leaderboards and Layers of Fear is scary. Alex has movie recommendations and final thoughts on Hotline Miami 2.

Josh and Nick get competitive in Nidhogg (38:00) and check out a new Xbox Preview game, Rivals of Aether - a title that is strikingly similar to Super Smash Bros. (in a good way)(41:00).
Everyone is still playing Pokemon GO (56:00).

The unseen forces that make items fall from a shelf or cause a floor to creak when you're home alone have been brought to light - they have always been Pokemon from beyond the veil of the "internet".
Pokemon GO takes the classic franchise to the everyday handhelds that are mobile phones. Josh and Nick discuss the glaring shortcomings but also touch on the potentially bright future this new Pokemon adventure could bring.
Free to play is a hot topic this week with Hawken arriving on consoles, Evolve morphing into Stage 2 on PC and how Warframe is still interesting.
Also discussed: Red Dead Redemption on Xbox One, Overwatch and aim-bots, the Devil Daggers update and of course, Witcher 3.

This week 2v1 discusses the highs and lows of video games: Witcher 3's Blood & Wine is the end of Geralt, Bloodstained is a new Castlevania and That Is Great, Resident Evil stealthily releases Umbrella Corps., another odd iteration in the aging franchise. Trials of the Blood Dragon is the beginning of the Ubiverse and Mighty No. 9 has nothing to show for its cost.

E3 2016 is over and so is the world. Collectibles and sub-humans (zombies/freakers/mushroom-people/etc) litter the wasteland. The only thing keeping you going is the memory of loved ones long gone and that sweet sweet satisfaction of checking off another side quest.
Alex & Josh liked (?) 10 Cloverfield Lane, Nick awards his Game of the Show to Xbox Design Lab, and the gang collectively discuss Halo Wars 2, as well as some lingering thoughts on God of War and Days Gone.

Another week with Alex gone means Josh and Nick are free to argue about everything under the sun. Are Overwatch support characters fun? Is there anything interesting about Tell Tale's Minecraft game? Is The Walking Dead about zombies? Just what are those question marks in the Witcher 3? And is Gwent a good card game?
Buried within arguments are discussions about Wolf Among Us, Olli Olli 2, Super Meat Boy and the indie game scene, more Overwatch, and the new Witcher 3 expansion, Blood and Wine.
